Guess what! We tagged team with our good friend Lorrie from LK Salon to create an arts & food festival in little old Throop, PA!
The “Valley” doesn’t have much going on in the arts community, so we decided to put our minds together and with the blessing of the super supportive Throop Council we bring to you, the very first Throop Arts + Food Festival!
The Inaugural Throop Arts + Food Festival will take place Saturday April 16th, 2016 from Noon-5PM at the Throop Community Civic Center. 500 Sanderson St. Throop, PA.
Our event will feature creatives, makers, and foodies from all over and include some specialty activities for the kiddos!
The Throop Fire Dept, Police Dept, and others are coming together to offer outdoor interactive previews on topics such as fire and crime safety. We will be offering FREE Kids’ Art Classes for children in grades K-6th, presented by certified art teacher, Anissa Krajewski. Spaces are limited, to register please contact the Throop Civic Center at (570) 383-7906.
Mid Valley High School students have the opportunity to volunteer for our event for Community Service Credit – to apply – contact us at 570-614-3143.
Some other exciting pieces of this event include acoustic music by local musicians, The Spartan Cheerleaders & PRIDE Cheerleaders, and food trucks in our parking lot!
