August 2015 Events

by | Events, NEPA

Hey, everyone! Even though our trailer is still being renovated (anticipating to be ready sometime in September), we couldn’t wait to jump on some shows after the awesome time we had at Arts on the Square! So, we have a great month lined up in front of us. Make sure to stop by and say ‘Hi’ and check out our prints. We keep adding more to fit with the ‘themes’ of our shows, so there’s always something new to look forward to. : )

Before we let you know what we’ve got going on. First and foremost, we would like to say we made a little announcement about our sweet pup, Daisy. If you haven’t heard yet, you can read about her story here. We’re so heartbroken to say that due to a very sad series of events, our baby is no longer with us.

Due to these circumstances, our first show of the month, (and one of 3 this weekend alone!) PAW PRINTS, is dedicated to the memory of our favorite little princess beagle. We’ll be showcasing pet inspired prints, with a portion of sales being donated to GoFundMe accounts looking for support for pets with IVDD. The show will be during First Friday – August 7th 6-8pm at The Post Home & Body on the 300 block of Adams Ave in Downtown Scranton.

Show #2: Saturday the 8th brings a great all day music event held up in Nay Aug Park. Scranton Music Festival runs from Noon-8pm.

Check out their podcast on NEPA Scene to hear what it’s all about!

Show #3: Make sure to head over to The Other Side in Downtown Wilkes-Barre for an exciting night of music and friendship as Those Clever Foxes play their last show. Our table will feature some specialty prints as a farewell to our buds. Doors open at 5pm, the show kicks off at 6pm.

August 15th we’ll be at INDRALOKAFEST in Shickshinny, PA, with our friends from Final Descent, amongst many other talented musicians and creatives. Indraloka is an all species animal rescue. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Indraloka Animal Sanctuary. We’ll be donating some prints for raffles as well as making a donation ourselves.
