As most of our viewers know, we use WordPress as our website building platform or CMS (Content Management System) and DIVI by Elegant Themes as our preferred theme and page builder. But you may be wondering what all those different plugins are in the backend of your website. So we made a list!
Check out our 22 favorite WordPress plugins, and what they do for your website!
1. 301 Redirects
We use this plugin mostly for website redesigns. It makes it super easy to redirect old links to new ones as well as see the traffic that is served to them.
2. Advanced Custom Fields
A customization plugin for our builds that lets us get ultra-creative in the content we show on the site. We use this most for dynamic content such as adding a Title field to a team member post type.
3. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk
by CleanTalk (obvs)
Easy to use spam assassin! This paid plugin handles contact form and comment spam like a champ.
4. Better Search Replace
We use this when launching websites to make sure your domain is the correct one being used throughout your site files. It allows us to easily knock out old or demo versions of the url. We like to keep it installed but deactivated in case we need to use it later for other text changes.
5. Coming Soon Page, Maintenance Mode & Landing Pages
by SeedProd
We use this plugin for fresh websites that need a coming soon page while we’re working on the build.
6. Custom Post Type UI
Admin user interface (UI) for creating custom post types and taxonomies in our builds. This allows us to keep the backend of WordPress mighty tidy.
7. Divi Booster
by Dan Mossop
Our favorite enhancements for Elegant Themes’ Divi Theme, such as adding more social media icons.
8. Divi Supreme Pro
by Divi Supreme
This plugin gives us extra module functionality that we use often in our designs, such as video pop-up buttons and specialty gallery displays.
9. Divi Testimonial Slider
This is our FAV testimonial slider plugin. We use this on most of our websites. It allows us to use testimonials in a custom post type so they are able to be tracked by search engines.
10. Divi Toolbox
by Divi Lover
This is a great plugin for backend customization as well as mobile customizations such as setting column numbers on tablet and mobile.
11. GDPR Cookie Consent
by WebToffee
This is a great plugin for easy cookie notice. It is highly customizable style-wise and even has an option for California Consumer Privacy Act.

This plugin is great for styling your Gravity Forms in an easy-to-use DIVI Module.

We use this plugin for our maintenance clients. It allows us to connect a website to our maintenance system and makes updating plugins and sending reports a breeze.
